Our bride to be Sam and her family came to us with a blank canvas to work with at their chosen venue - Chateau Impney in Droitwich.
From the initial meeting, the family were worried on what to do with the space due to the high ceilings and the large room. They didn’t want the room to feel bare and wanted us to come up with an overall design proposal on how to transform the bland space into their dream wedding!
Sam had been to numerous weddings at this venue before and was never truly impressed by the décor, so she asked our designers to give some special thought on what could be created for the head table and family tables considering the vast space of the venue.
When planning decor at this venue, the main obstacle to overcome is the dated green and brick clad walls.
The Colour Palette
The team came to a final design of having blush colours with crystal details, and statement gold printed damask chair covers.
Bespoke Draping
Incorporating our 'Blush & Classy' look, we suggested bespoke draping for the venue in Champagne Crush Velour. This involved site visits to get the sizing for the bespoke draping, which would hide the brick walls and let us start from a blank canvas.
Room Layout
The Broadway Suite is a large space meaning that we had the creative freedom to go for large signature family tables to give an intimate yet spacious feel, with the head table occupying a prominent space at the end of the dance floor.
