Gurj & Preena
Our very own Gurj & Preena (Crush Cocktails) had set two initial colours for us to work with as their Mandap reception was about the timeless golds, light pinks with blush colours, whilst the Reception day was to be glassware, candlelit with red floral - so we thought we'd go with one of our favourite themes to recreate - Beauty and the beast!
Working with the colour scheme briefs, the team got to work creating and designing two separate looks.
The brief consisted of having Ice Chiavari chairs brought into the venue with Champagne velour table linen throughout. This gave the venue depth with a subtle touch.
In order to accomplish a successfully looking event, it's not about going over the top with your centrepieces. We feel the art is to link all of the different table-pieces to the same brief.
The Colour Palette
The venue had AV production, so we were able to bring in the romance red. The red contrasted against the venue's black star cloth whilst having the room colour washed in pink added to the atmosphere.
Centrepieces
We had a variety of four Centrepiece designs all of which shared the red floral design with accents of candlelit. This allows for various heights with different details in order to meet all kinds of budgets.
Enchanted Head Table
Our couple wanted an iconic look for their head-table. We used a transparent table to create a floating rose bush, with a custom made floral backdrop draped in red roses to complement the extravagant theme.
